Here is my interview with Laureano Ralón of Figure/Ground in 2016. It discusses my personal history, what lead me to philosophy, and how I see the philosophical trajectory I’d traced up to that point. In particular, there is an extended discussion of my involvement in discussions around ‘Speculative Realism’ in the blogosphere, my Essay on Transcendental Realism, and how this emerged out of the debates with figures in the OOO scene that lead to my first book.
